We are a division of the Academy of Management. Our division welcomes researchers, teachers, Ph.D. students, consultants, entrepreneurs, and anyone who shares our mission of growing entrepreneurship scholars. We meet once a year at the Academy of Management national conference with many exciting pre-conference workshops, an extensive conference program that focuses on the latest entrepreneurship research, and a number of social activities aimed at fostering networking and the exchange of ideas. We also have a mid-winter meeting in February of each year that focuses on governance issues for the Division. Anyone interested in becoming involved in helping improve our Division is welcome to attend. Our website highlights a number of conferences, research awards, teaching innovations, Ph.D. opportunities, and other activities that help foster a sense of community as we work together to grow entrepreneurship scholars. We continually look for ways to innovate and improve our Division and our entrepreneurial community. Please join us as an active participant!

What's hot in Entrepreneurship Research? I don't like to answer this question. You research topic(s) you want to study, I tell them. But still, what is popular these days? People persist. We now have some information on what was popular in the AOM ENT Division papers at Academy of Management Conference in Chicago. Thanks to Athina Skiadopoulou, 3rd-year PhD student at University of Alabama, Manderson Graduate School of Business, we can quickly see what words and topics were most popular in the accepted papers this year. Different people will take away different things from this word-cloud and word-frequency graph. Feel free to take what you find useful here. Just returned home from #AOM2024 conference in Chicago and am feeling immensely grateful - I had a warm welcome in my first meeting with the ENT Exec Board as a new RAL and was deeply honored to receive the Heizer Dissertation Award for my dissertation, "Cofounder Selection & Satisfaction: How Entrepreneurial Cofounders Come Together and Succeed Together." I was presented the award by E. F. (Skip) Heizer and Lynn Heizer of Heizer Capital LLC, who are as delightful and down-to-earth as they are successful and philanthropic. Special thanks to them, my supervisors, Denis Gregoire and Darren Meister, and my committee members Larry Plummer, Nicola Breugst, Eric Morse, Fernando Olivera, and Paul Tremblay. It was also wonderful to feel the energy behind this topic during the symposium Raja Singaram and I co-organized featuring discussant William Gartner and the work of scholars I deeply respect. Finally, it's such a gift to connect with academic friends from near and far, especially my Lloyd Greif Center for Entrepreneurial Studies - USC Marshall colleagues Dan Wadhwani, Elissa Grossman, Glenn R. Fox PhD, and Hovig Tchalian, and honoraries Jill Kickul and Katrina Brownell. My feet are tired, but my heart is full and my brain is brimming with ideas - thanks Chicago!!
