With ‘attracting and retaining top talent’ ranked the fourth business risk globally in our Global Risk Management Survey we have been focusing on demonstrating quantifiable examples of how specific areas of reward impact this. One of the areas I have struggled to see a quantifiable example of this is in employee attrition due to poor communication of total reward. Earlier this year we focused on solving this for Deloitte. It has been brilliant to see them win awards and crucially achieve a decrease in employee attrition from more than 50% to under 30% from better communication of total reward.
