The Alliance of Wound Care Stakeholders led by Chair and AOTI Chief Medical Officer Matthew G. Garoufalis, DPM, FASPS, FACPM, CWS, FFPM RCPS, held a successful meeting at CMS Headquarters in Baltimore, presenting strong evidence supporting CMS reimbursement for Intermittent TWO2 therapy and topical oxygen in general. CMS was shown that the compelling research not only meets but exceeds the recently established evidence standards for CTPs. Additionally, it was highlighted that multiple national and international societies and organizations, after reviewing the evidence, have awarded Topical Oxygen therapy Level “1” or Grade “A” recommendations as an adjunct to standard of care in wound healing. #TWO2heals #aotinc #aoti
