APA Ohio is the oldest association of citizen and professional planners in the country. We are committed to promoting and enhancing planning in order to maintain and improve the quality of life for all Ohioans. APA Ohio is a state chapter of the American Planning Association (APA). We provide regional and statewide forums for investigation and discussion. These forums lead to practical, use-it-today solutions to planning and development challenges. APA Ohio encourages legislation and action programs to enhance sound planning at the state, regional and local levels. Over the past one hundred years, APA Ohio and its members have changed and evolved but our mission remains the same – to promote good planning for the betterment of all Ohioans.

Had a chance to volunteer with my colleagues Chad M Adkins, AICP and Nia Holt this morning for the City of Riverside's "Your City, Your World" planning engagement effort at Stevenson Elementary. We spent an hour with a classroom of third grade students sharing a little bit about city planning and helping them design their own plan for Riverside! We had a blast and the kids were excited to share their amazing ideas. There were certainly some budding city planners in our groups! Thank you to Nia and the City of Riverside for letting the American Planning Association, Ohio Chapter be a part of your event!
