This research, supported by U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) advances AI-driven cross-disciplinary knowledge synthesis, secure AI deployment, and human-AI collaboration. The talk highlights key initiatives: 🔹 BridgeScience – Integrates large language models (GPT-4, LLaMA-3), multimodal foundation models, and knowledge graphs with agentic AI workflows to support material science, AI, and nuclear nonproliferation. 🔹 BioSage – Expands CAI to biosecurity using a multi-agent architecture with specialized translator and reasoning agents. 🔹 ART-FM – A cloud-enabled testbed for adversarial AI evaluation, vulnerability assessment, and causal discovery. 🔹 EMHAT – A methodology for assessing human-AI team performance in operational settings.
