Entering the Next Phase of Growth and Innovation for Aptos Labs as CEO 3 years ago, a group of ex-Libra/ex-Diem friends left Meta with crazy dreams to build the world’s most scalable and innovative decentralized infrastructure. Fast forward to today, we launched the first supercomputing blockchain - a novel pipelined architecture with dynamic parallelism, concurrent shared state with aggregators, quorum store for scalable data dissemination, and storage sharding. Developers build the most innovative applications with the best technologies - the Move language, the first unbiasable randomness primitives, keyless and passkey integration, and the most powerful and scalable indexer ever. Aptos tech and devs all play at the bleeding edge of web3. It’s no surprise that Aptos is the fastest-growing Move community and the second fastest-growing web3 ecosystem in the world. I'm honored to share that I’ll be taking on a new role as @AptosLabs CEO. Supporting and growing the ambitious Aptos builders and community, pushing the boundaries of innovation in web3 technology, and high-velocity pioneering products are my immediate priorities for this next chapter. I’m going to hit the ground running. Thank you @moshaikhs for your passion and belief in our shared mission. We have accomplished much together in a short time. I want to personally thank Mo for his relentless dedication and belief in our shared mission. I look forward to his role as a strategic advisor to Aptos Labs, and his future endeavors. Libra was my first love. Aptos is the heir to the vision of Libra, but so much more. Open finance means two things. First, it means that anyone can access financial infrastructure and assets around the world at any time. Second, developers can integrate financial products without any permission required. DeFi is the start, TradFi on-chain assets are the bridge, but the future is a world where the world’s economic activities move on-chain. Loyalty and commerce are naturally part of the flywheel with open finance. Aptos is the only chain with the world’s most scalable and cost-efficient web3 infrastructure to match the pace of innovation in these spaces - holding the top 4 records for daily mainnet transactions. While we’ve already announced significant upcoming innovations in rAPTr, Block-STM v2, and Move 2, there’s a massive new infrastructure initiative we will announce in 2025 that will bring on a new wave of pioneering developers and projects. I can’t wait. #aptOS The real MVPs of Aptos are the community and builders. Seeing your excitement and passion in X/spaces, TG groups, VCs, and IRL drives me to push harder for all of you. I am here for you. Regional growth in India, Korea, Vietnam, Japan, and China will explode in 2025.
