As $35 trillion in wealth transitions into women’s hands over the next decade, we’re seeing a seismic shift in how philanthropy is approached and practiced. Women are not only giving more generously than men but are also leading with values-driven, collaborative approaches that prioritize equity, community, and systemic change. From high-profile philanthropists to everyday donors, women are leveraging their growing financial influence to tackle society's most pressing challenges. Yet, many barriers remain—outdated wealth management practices and a lack of tailored support continue to hold women back from reaching their full philanthropic potential. Arabella Advisors' Jessica Robinson Love and Heather McLeod Grant co-authored an article for Stanford Social Innovation Review that dives into these trends and explores why centering women in philanthropy is key to unlocking impactful, equitable giving.
