It feels incredibly great to have been selected and awarded the 2024 Diana Award alongside 199 other recipients from 45 countries (with 22 of us from Nigeria), out of 1700+ nomination submissions, making this the most competitive year yet. Established in memory of Diana, Princess of Wales, the award is the highest accolade a young person can achieve for social action or humanitarian efforts. Given out by the charity of the same name, the award has the support of both her sons, HRH The Prince of Wales and Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex. Having received a congratulatory letter from Kensington Palace for the remarkable impact work that we are doing at Archivan, I want to specially appreciate my team at Archivan for making this possible. Special shout-out to my brother and Co-founder Idowu Adeyemi, who has been of incredible support in all areas. At Archivan, we are committed to reducing employment inequalities faced by millions of people with disabilities in Nigeria through training, partnerships, and empowerment initiatives. We are extremely proud of the work we have done and the impact that we will create. While this award is an accolade for my social action, it is also a challenge to continually contribute outstandingly to the entrepreneurship and social impact space as a young leader.
