Nearly 10 years have passed since we produced "Sink or Swim: Designing for a Sea Change,” and severe weather still devastates our coastal communities. The film was commissioned by the Annenberg Foundation, which asked us to explore architecture’s role in combatting climate change and rising sea levels. We covered the rebuilding of New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina, the deadly lessons of Hurricane Sandy, and the promise of "resilient" design saving lives around the globe. In our 2018 film "America's Library," we dove into American history through a unique collaboration with the Library of Congress, which granted rare access to its vast collection of historical treasures—the largest in the world. The film explores key events in the American experience with commentary from notable figures such as Tom Brokaw, Cokie Roberts, George Will, Henry Louis Gates, Jr., and Civil Rights icon John Lewis.
