  • Lifelong learning doesn't happen without failure. Practicing self-compassion is a healthy, effective way to move through failure and stress and continue pursuing your goals and passions. 🙌 Check out @neffselfcompassion for more informative and practical self-compassion resources 👌 ID: A white, yellow, and red background with white text on top that reads "The biggest thing self-compassion does, in terms of motivation and reaching our goals, is it allows us to learn from our failures. It gives us that supportive mental space we need to say, ‘Okay, well, that hurt. Ouch. It happened. What can I do better next time?'" The quote is attributed to Dr. Kristin Neff

  • Finals are here! As you continue studying, check out our quick tips to help you show up your best before and during your exams: 😴 Get enough sleep the night before (8-10 hours is recommended). 🎒 Pack any supplies you'll need the night before, like your calculator, device, or pencils. 🧘 Relax and take deep breaths during the test. 🙌 Be confident and know that you've got this! #finals #finalsweek #studytips ID: A photo of a student sitting outside and smiling while they write in a notebook. • The amount of studying you need to do depends on how many exams you have and how difficult they might be. Generally, we recommend starting to study for exams 1-2 weeks in advance. Look ahead to your test dates and plan out your study time in your planner or calendar now! Practicing information you need to know a little bit each day, even for just 20-30 minutes, will help you retain the content better. 👌 #studytips #studystrategies #finalexams ID: A graphic of a desk with a spread of study tools on it, including a notebook, a laptop, a calendar, and a desk lamp. Above the graphic is text that reads "When should I start studying for finals? 🤔"

  • We know that YOU know that cramming the night before a test isn't the best way to study. But what does studying a little bit each day actually look like? ⬇️ 👀 look ahead to the test date and schedule your study time in your planner for several days leading up to that date (one week in advance is great!) ⏱️ spend 30 minutes to 1 hour studying each day: highlight key concepts you'll need to know, summarize them in your own words, quiz yourself, teach the information to someone else, and review/revise/rewrite your notes to include details you may have missed in class ❤️ don't forget to take breaks, ask for help or clarification when you need it, and get adequate sleep! These things will all help you remember the information you study, too. #studytips #studynotes #learning ID: Two slides with blue backgrounds and graphics of students studying. The first slide reads "Instead of studying the night before..." and the student looks stressed. The second slide reads "study a little bit each day." and the student looks cheerful.

  • Everyone learns differently. That’s why we create individualized learning plans to help your student navigate their classes, practice for the ACT or SAT, determine their best college fit, and choose a career. Our students work one-on-one with a coach who meets their individual needs through a mentorship approach. Our coaches are college graduates, current college students, content experts, counselors, and teachers trained to discover students' needs, gaps in understanding, and learning preferences. Check out our services and schedule a free 30-minute consultation on our website to learn more! #academiccoaching #tutoringservices #onlinetutoring #privatetutor #orlandotutor ID: A student with a laptop and one of our coaches with a workbook sitting on a bench outside.
