In this paper, McGill University researchers presented the design of an Arduino Nano Every-controlled automated current-voltage multiplexer that enables accurate measurement of the dark current in cryogenic silicon photomultipliers, achieving a sensitivity equivalent to detecting less than one avalanche per second.
