💜 On World Pancreatic Cancer Day, Hope Begins with Innovation 💜 Pancreatic cancer is one of the most challenging diseases to detect and treat early, but we are working diligently to improve screening and detection methods for this deadly cancer. We are transforming the fight against pancreatic cancer with a groundbreaking approach to early detection. By going beyond genetics, Pancreatic Cancer Biomarker and Risk SNaP-Shot™ provides personalized insights that clarify cancer risk and guide proactive care for patients. ✨ Pancreatic Cancer Biomarker and Risk SNaP-Shot™ identifies high-risk patients who can benefit from pancreatic cancer surveillance—empowering patients and healthcare providers with the knowledge needed to act early, when it matters most. This isn’t just about medicine; it’s about changing lives. Every early diagnosis brings hope, every personalized plan provides a path forward, and every innovation gets us closer to a world where pancreatic cancer is caught and treated in time 💜. 🔍 Early Detection Saves Lives 💡 Innovation Changes Futures Together, we can make early detection the norm and give patients the fighting chance they deserve. #WorldPancreaticCancerDay #EarlyDetectionSavesLives #PrecisionMedicine #PancreaticCancerAwareness 💜

The greatest opportunity to improve #PancreaticCancer survival is through screening and monitoring high-risk individuals (HRI) to make an early diagnosis. Ariel created Pancreatic Cancer Biomarker and Risk SNaP-Shot™ to support and guide pancreatic cancer screening by helping you determine which patients may be HRI. Pancreatic Cancer Biomarker and Risk SNaP-Shot™ is a patient risk stratification tool to identify the subset of patients who are HRI and most likely to benefit from an image-based PDAC screening program by: 1. Combining genetic risk factors with known non-genetic risk factors to calculate age, sex and ancestry-adjusted risk. 2. Combining absolute risk and new-onset symptoms (e.g. new onset diabetes, NOD) to calculate the likelihood of PDAC developing in the individual within the next 12 months. 3. Assessing CA 19-9 and CEA genetics (FUT2/FUT3) to help interpret laboratory results. Nonspecific signals of occult Pancreatic Ductal Adenocarcinoma (#PDAC) (such as new onset diabetes; NOD) often occur up to 3 years before PDAC is diagnosed – typically at Stage 4 where long-term survival is poor.* Ariel Precision Medicine's Pancreatic Cancer Biomarker and Risk SNaP-Shot™ is a patient risk stratification tool that integrates multiple genetic risk factors with certain clinical risk factors and biomarkers (adjusted for underlying genetics) to help you answer this critical question. Learn more about our Pancreatic Cancer Biomarker and Risk SNaP-Shot™: https://lnkd.in/gdVyfu29 * Note: Nonspecific biomarkers of occult PDAC include new onset (within the last 1-3 years) of diabetes, acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis, exocrine pancreatic secretion / maldigestion, increased LFTs (especially biliary, including jaundice, clay-colored stools), unexplained weight loss, unexplained abdominal pain, loss of appetite and/or others. #gastroenterology #oncology #healthcare #healthcareproviders #medicalproviders #biotechnology #genetics #PancreaticCancerAwarenessMonth #pancreaticcancer
