Excited to share one of the most impactful updates to Arist: Source Referencing for AI-Generated Course Content 🎉 Here’s what’s new: 📚 Automatic citations: APA-style references are generated from your provided source material—or external sources (if browsing allowed) used for validation. 📄 Citations page: Every exported course now includes a dedicated page for transparency, credibility, and streamlined approvals. 🤝 Edit references: Easily refine and manage citations in a new section of the course builder. Even better, you can direct Arist’s AI to focus only on your provided materials, ensuring courses stay true to your expertise or company-provided data. Why does this matter? For regulated industries like Life Sciences, it simplifies the legal approval process for AI-generated content. For everyone, we hope it builds trust in AI-generated content by clearly showing its sources. Check out this 1-minute video to see it in action 👇

What makes Lebron James so world-class? What do people get wrong about the idea of persistence? When at a crossroads in life, how do you figure out what's next? On Tuesday I'll release my full conversation with Craig Masback in our first episode of the outPerform podcast. Craig is a world-class runner who broke the 4 minute mile all the way back in the 70s, a former sports commentator for NBC, and the former CEO of USA Track and Field. To say Craig is wise is an understatement. We cover everything from why it's so tough for even the best athletes to find a next-gig to sage advice for those who want to be the very best. Full episode dropping on Tuesday, stay tuned :)

We'll be releasing a lot of our new research around how best to train Field Teams over the next few weeks! Check out some of our research below or see our Field Guide for Field Teams for more: arist.co/fieldguide

Over the next few weeks I'll be sharing some of the data from our research on solving the biggest challenges when training Field Teams. Why does it take us forever to get adoption, if we can get it at all? 1 - There's "no time" - the average employee dedicates less than 30 minutes to formal learning per week, but is checking tools like MS Teams, SMS, and Email every few minutes. This is really an issue with the way we're requiring employees to block off time. 2 - There's high friction in content. Our team tested most major learning solutions and found an average of 7 clicks to get to necessary content in an LMS or microlearning app. Imagine all the effort to get someone to engage just to lose 90%+ of people before they start the first lesson? It's a marketing / UI issue rather than a learning one. 3 - Formal learning is happening in places field teams never go to for any other reason. Field sales reps in life sciences, for example, spend 70%+ of their time in a lobby or traveling to a prospect. They report rarely checking email and never going into a formal learning site or app. The learning format itself isn't conducive to how they spend their days. I'll dig into how we solve this soon. In the meantime, if you want to skip ahead I'll include our entire Field Guide for Field Teams here: arist.co/fieldguide
