About us
The Arizona Commerce Authority (ACA) is an aggressive economic development organization focusing on advancing the state's economy through the recruitment of quality companies and jobs for the state of Arizona as well as the expansion of companies already doing business in the state. The ACA is overseen by a public-private sector board comprised of Arizona leaders in business and policy. The board is chaired by Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs. Joining the governor on the board is a group of prestigious private-sector business leaders, elected officials and university presidents.

The ACA is proud to partner with Greater Phoenix Economic Council to host a visiting delegation of more than 80 Japanese officials and companies from the semiconductor and aerospace industries. In 2023, Japan was Arizona’s top source of foreign direct investment, with at least eight projects and more than $2.5 billion in total trade. We’re grateful to our partners from Japan including Consulate General of Japan in Los Angeles and JETRO - Japan External Trade Organization and look forward to continuing to grow ties between our two economies. #JETRO
