About us
The Arizona Council on Economic Education (ACEE) is a 501(C)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to economic and financial literacy, and workforce development in Arizona. ACEE is the only statewide organization in Arizona which: has a strong, affiliated academic base with universities and community colleges; partners with the Arizona Department of Education and the Federal Reserve Bank; prepares teachers in teaching and students in learning personal finance, economics and entrepreneurship; and distributes proven non-proprietary economic education resources to schools free of charge. So much to be grateful for when we were invited by Echo Mountain Primary in the Paradise Valley Unified School District to present our EconReads program. "I love how engaged and excited the presenters were to read and teach the class! The students loved answering their questions!" Thank you to our amazing volunteers who brought economics to life for Kinder through 3rd grade students! Through engaging stories like An Orange in January (consumers & producers) and Tia Isa Wants a Car (choices & savings goals), students explored essential economic concepts in a fun and interactive way. #EconReads
