This year’s Rural Health Day theme is “Advancing Maternal Health in Rural Communities,” an opportunity to celebrate initiatives that improve health outcomes for some of our most vulnerable members. In rural Fresno County, CA, Health Net, a Centene company, engaged a community advisory workgroup to better understand Salvadorian cultural practices around postpartum care. Through education and tailored communication strategies, Health Net worked with providers to create culturally sensitive approaches to care. 🤝 Supporting Arizona Families Through Community Partnership 🌵 Recently, our Community Relations Representative, Anthony Mancini, went above and beyond, coordinating the delivery of nearly 2,000 diapers from Benson to Hualapai, AZ. In collaboration with the Benson Diaper Bank and Northern Arizona’s Foster Alliance, Anthony personally picked up and delivered the excess diapers that otherwise would have ended up in a landfill. Instead, they’re now making a real difference for families in Northern Arizona, where support is especially needed. 🍼✨ Anthony’s dedication doesn’t stop there—he’s committed to ensuring that future diaper donations reach those who need them most. By working directly with our community partners, he’s bridging gaps and transforming the health of our communities we serve, one person at a time.
