About us
The Arkansas SHRM State Council is the communication link between members, our seven SHRM chapters, and the SHRM organization. The Council provides leadership, communication, and supports thousands of human resource professionals who are either members of a SHRM chapter or at-large SHRM members in Arkansas. The Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) has more than 350,000 members and is the global voice for the human resources profession. A 100% volunteer led organization, we host two conferences per year. The Employment Law & Legislative Affairs (ELLA) conference in April at the Robinson Center, and the Arkansas SHRM HR Conference & Expo in October. We also host an invite only event for our state council and chapter volunteers. SHRM and chapter membership is encouraged of all HR professionals and those who perform HR functions.
