This year, they hosted an Angel Tree for the Arlington Life Shelter and went above and beyond by purchasing gifts for every child staying at the shelter. Because of your incredible generosity, these kids will wake up on Christmas morning with smiles on their faces and hearts full of joy. A huge shoutout to the amazing team at Peak Point Real Estate for hosting their Cozy for a Cause event benefitting the Arlington Life Shelter! Thanks to their incredible efforts, they collected over 100 coats and blankets for our neighbors in need to stay warm. We are so grateful for your continued support and generosity!

In 1999, Edrick left Michigan with his wife to grow and nurture their three children here in Texas. The family enjoyed many happy years and holidays together, but Edrick and his wife sadly experienced something no parent should have to endure — the death of their daughter, Olivia. The tragedy profoundly affected Edrick’s life, eventually leading to divorce and housing insecurity. Edrick needed help healing. So, he came to the Arlington Life Shelter. The Arlington Life Shelter helped Edrick recover through financial literacy classes, spiritual support and therapy. Our heartfelt thanks go to Speedway Children's Charities for their philanthropic spirit. This grant will provide for the basic needs of homeless children at our shelter, including food, shelter, and case management.
