This Veteran's Day we'd like to give a special shout-out to our very own Major Paul Stennett! Paul joined the Ohio Air National Guard in 2004 and is nearing his 20-year mark of service. He began his military career as a structural apprentice in the Civil Engineering Squadron and spent most of his enlisted time with the 200th RED HORSE Squadron. He went on to earn his commission through the Academy of Military Science at Maxwell AFB, Alabama. He has served as the Chief of Public Affairs, Wing Executive Officer, and as the Chief, Information Protection Officer at the 179th Airlift Wing, among other positions. Additionally, his deployments include Operations New Horizons, Jump Start, and Enduring Freedom. He has received commendations including the Meritorious Service Medal, the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Air Force, Army, and Navy Achievement Medals, and the NATO Medal, among many others. Paul is the 3rd Generation Stennett here at ARS Video, following in his grandparents and father Gary's footsteps in the family business! Thank you for your service Paul, and Veterans everywhere! It's not too late to submit a film for consideration! Under the terms of the National Film Preservation Act of 1988, the Librarian of Congress can only select 25 titles annually that are deemed “culturally, historically or aesthetically” significant, are at least 10 years old, and extant (meaning they must exist). The deadline is August 15, 2024, and any nominations made after the deadline will be considered for the 2025 National Film Registry.
