Promoting leadership in cybersecurity education! ASCTE President Matt Massey and CTO Chase Golden represented ASCTE at the NIST | NICE Cybersecurity Career Ambassadors Community of Interest K12 Conference in San Antonio, Texas. They had the honor of meeting with Dr. Davina Pruitt-Mentle, Lead for Academic Engagement at NICE (National Institute of Standards and Technology), and Albert Palacios, Director of Cyber Education at the White House Office of the National Cyber Director. Their visit concluded with a tour of “Shadows Edge” at the Airforce Software Factory—a premier software producer for the United States Air Force.
