ASMBS is proud to count themselves amongst the 75 medical organizations around the world endorsing the Global Launch of the Lancet DE Commission on Clinical Obesity presentation to be held in London, UK, on January 16, 2025, from 1pm-5pm GMT. This event will be live-streamed and can be registered for here, at no cost : https://lnkd.in/gwXNQFMZ Tune in to hear the Commission’s new evidence-based definition of obesity as a chronic illness and get a deeper understanding of the report’s implications for healthcare practices and policies. This report, led by Professor Francesco Rubino (King’s College of London), features insights from 56 global experts and will be published in The Lancet Diabetes & Endocrinology. Register to attend and learn how this new way of defining obesity as a disease could change access to care for patients who are looking for life-changing solutions. Additionally, it is the Commission's hope that attendees will achieve an understanding of the medically coherent framework for disease diagnosis that will, hopefully, put an end to one of the most controversial debates in modern medicine. Register to attend virtually TODAY; space is limited.
