  • Kenya Education Fund (KEF) seeks a Director of Development to play a pivotal role in advancing the mission and growth of the organization by developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising, marketing, and events program. The Director of Development will drive both short- and long-term strategic planning, cultivating meaningful philanthropic relationships, and securing support for the organization's priorities. With a blend of innovative thinking and proven implementation, the Director of Development will collaborate closely with the Executive Director, Board, and staff to elevate the organization's fundraising efforts. Kenya Education Fund’s mission is to provide economically disadvantaged students in Kenya with scholarships, support, and educational resources for them to improve their lives and communities. In 2003 primary school in Kenya became free. Despite the positive impact of abolishing school fees for primary education in Kenya, secondary education remains a challenge. Currently, the enrollment rate is approximately 70%, and the majority of students still face barriers due to financial constraints and widespread poverty. Kenya Education Fund provides scholarships to students in Kenya based on need and merit. Over the past 18 years, KEF has provided more than 4,500 scholarships and partnered with 153 schools, working towards achieving its vision of self-reliance for people in Kenya through education.   • Global Smile Foundation seeks a Senior Director of Development to be responsible for the creation and execution of a comprehensive fundraising strategy that drives sustainable revenue growth and aligns with the organization’s mission. The Senior Director will focus on expanding and diversifying funding sources through major gifts, corporate partnerships, individual giving, and institutional grants, while minimizing fundraising costs.
