How AGC New Mexico is Inspiring the Future Workforce: 🔹 Annual Heavy Equipment Rodeo: This year, over 1,100 students from 28 schools statewide participated in a hands-on experience with construction equipment, coupled with a career fair tailored specifically for students. 🔹 Craft Kits for Elementary Students: Partnering with Explora, we created classroom craft kits that industry professionals use to spark curiosity and introduce students to the world of construction. 🔹 Industry Panels: By hosting engaging presentations and connecting with schools, we’re helping to dispel outdated myths and highlight the rewarding career paths construction offers. The goal? To inspire and educate students while positioning construction as a vibrant, innovative, and essential career choice.
