Depending on the choices you make right now, you'll end up in one of two groups: 1) Sitting on top of a mountain of tax benefits that are available to those who use them effectively, or 2) Crying at the bottom of a pit of missed tax opportunities. We're here to help YOU process tax season and ensure that your taxes are as locked tight, cost-efficient, and SAVINGS-OPTIMIZED for you as (legally and ethically) possible. So if you’d rather end up in the first group post-tax season, just give us a call.

Be honest – have you been skipping or underpaying your estimated taxes? Because if you have, we have some not-great news for you: IRS interest rates have recently gone up. Meaning the longer you put off your payments, the more it’ll cost you. So let’s talk about getting your estimated payments on track.

There are lots of reasons businesses get in trouble with the IRS, but much of it boils down to this: You have too much on your plate. It’s the “I can do it all” mindset that a lot of business owners have. Because when you have too much on your plate, your tax obligations get put on the backburner, which means unpaid taxes, misfilings, and penalties. So if your (albeit admirable) determination has gotten you into trouble with the IRS, let us take that off your plate. We’re here to help, and can make the process WAY easier than if you were to go it alone. Would you consider yourself an “I can do it all” business owner? (Or perhaps a better question – would your employees?)

False alarm – Elon Musk didn’t delete the IRS Direct File program (and it’s still available for this tax season at least). But, this instance highlights something that you can’t ignore anymore: You can’t entrust your financials to a program that can be “deleted” with the click of a button (or an X post from a tech-genius-billionaire). You need a much sturdier foundation under you than that – a team of experts committed to YOUR financial well-being. If that’s something you’re up for, just give us a call. https://lnkd.in/ggjDjygY

As a business owner, you’ve got more skin in the game when it comes to your taxes. Why? Because it’s not just about you. There’s so much more at stake for you, which can put a weight on your shoulders during tax season. And if you’re feeling that weight right now, here’s your reminder to take a deep breath, and focus on this one thing… Be proactive. Get your documentation organized. And get your filing appointment scheduled LONG before the deadline. It’s these choices to stay a step ahead that can make or break your business finances this year. What tax to-do could you cross off your list today?

Have you seen a ghost? In the tax realm, ghost preparers will prepare your tax return without signing it, leaving you on the hook for any mistakes. A legit tax preparer will always include their Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN) and sign the return. Who you gonna call? Your tax ghostbusters. If you’ve been ghosted, give us a ring.
