Empowering communities through education is a powerful way to advocate for human rights. Public health workshops, for example, raise awareness and build capacity to protect these rights. Many universities and human rights-based organizations like UCSF Health, United Nations Human Rights, Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health, International Society for Human Rights (ISHR), provide workshops and webinars on understanding the critical links between health and human rights. Share a story or strategy that inspires you to be educated about issues surrounding human rights! Like, repost, or visit ACESWorld to join the movement for equity and justice. #WorkingTogether #Advocacy #Equity Rise Up

"Our rights, our future, right now." This year's United Nations Human Rights campaign highlights how crucial human #rights are for building a better #future. It's important we learn from and support those advocating for their rights globally. One powerful strategy is to educate yourself on specific issues and #advocate for human rights. An example of this could be by speaking about these issues and voting for government officials who support these causes. Repost to spread awareness!
