    When I named my company Atalanta Marketing, I was inspired by the mythological Atalanta - a legendary runner and the only female Argonaut. She was celebrated for her fearless, innovative spirit and unmatched speed. Not too long after, I landed my first contract... with an innovative new track league. Some things are just meant to be. Last week, I had the chance to head to LA with Grand Slam Track, Winners Alliance, and Fresh Tape Media to help bring the first-ever Racer's Summit to life. Grand Slam Track set the tone, rolling out the red carpet with an ocean-view dinner in Malibu and a field-side suite at the Rams game, making sure the athletes felt like the superstars they are. Every detail was designed to elevate the Racers and create an experience that matched their dedication to the sport. As Grand Slam Track Commissioner Michael Johnson told the athletes, "The vision I have is that track will become just as important as other professional sports. We have some of the greatest athletes in the world, and they should be treated as such." Watching these Racers from all around the world embrace that vision was exciting. The Racers brought their best attitudes and fully leaned into trends (see below outtake from our wide-eye filter prank 😂 ). The Fresh Tape Media team seamlessly set up beautiful, varied sets, quickly adapting to keep up with a very fast-paced two days. With track and field as the no. 1 high school sport for girls and no. 2 for boys, the potential to elevate the sport's professional visibility is huge. I can't wait to see all the content that was captured. This is just the beginning!

  • Grand Slam Track has a new vision for the future of track 👀 From the start, it was clear that GST wasn't simply a new league, they were building something truly special for track fans and athletes around the world. Finding ways to showcase the educational details alongside Winners Alliance and Fresh Tape Media has been an exciting challenge. Together, we've worked to break down complex ideas and make this new league accessible for all. Can it be Slam time already?
