Great news today that Kassie Smith QC of Monckton Chambers will lead the investigation into the regulator's decision (which led to the court case we won last year), is fantastic news. We are reassured that someone of her calibre and experience has been appointed. We hope that another review will take place after this one, to look at how Jersey has ended up with a fuel monopoly in the first place, and why CICRA enabled this situation by allowing Rubis's acquisition of La Collette Terminal. We also know that other industries, such as telecoms, would like a review to consider decisions relating to them. As ever we are so grateful for the support of ATF customers, and we would ask that to continue to support us, and also Jersey, by asking your new States Members to get behind this review and change how the regulator operated. Update - the canopy is on and in our opinion it looks great, it definitely one if its kind in Jersey and possibly the UK! Purposefully chosen the primary structure is timber faced, with natural material being used throughout, echoing a tree trunk and canopy, the timber is fully sustainable and completely recyclable. Now for the ground work reinstatement and dispensers to be installed. With a target date of July/August, we cannot wait for the location to open and widen our biofuel offering to more customers.
