About us

Founded by Dr. Booker T. Washington in 1933, the Atlanta Business League (ABL) was established as an affiliate of the National Business League. The ABL was formed to enhance and expand the business community at large, to encourage civic pride, and to reinvest community money within the community. Serving the role as minority business developer and advocate, the ABL seeks to provide economic empowerment and business development opportunities for minorities throughout the metropolitan Atlanta area with specific emphasis on the development of African-American businesses.
