Helping create a compassionate and just community by educating, equipping, and engaging Atlantans.
About us
Atlanta Way 2.0 is a modern-day concept aimed at connecting people and organizations for the greater good of the Atlanta region. Examples include bringing together organizations with related missions to work on common goals, introducing executives who are new to the city and helping them form community ties, and linking regional leaders facing challenges with people who can help them work on tangible solutions. Unlike the historic Atlanta Way, composed mostly of powerful male leaders, Atlanta Way 2.0 will strive to be much more inclusive – embracing civic-minded people from all walks of life to become part of the multi-layered fabric that makes up our region.

There are so many ways to show others we care. Leanne Rubenstein of Compassionate Atlanta Inc. shares: "In the context of our work, compassion is not just a feeling but a practical, actionable strategy. It means recognizing the struggles and challenges that people face and actively working to address them. It means creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and valued. It means advocating for policies and practices that promote equity and justice." One way we challenge our Atlanta Way 2.0 Activators to strengthen the civic fabric of Atlanta is to check in with those we know are struggling and keep that line of communication open.
