Improved resilience of critical infrastructures against large scale transnational and systemic risks - GA no. 101073909
About us
ATLANTIS aims at enhancing resilience and Cyber-Physical-Human (CPH) security of the key EU Critical Infrastructures, going beyond the scope of distinct assets, systems, and single CI, by addressing resilience at the systemic level against major natural hazards and complex attacks that could potentially disrupt vital functions of the society. The mission of ATLANTIS, which involves 39 European partners with complementary roles and skills, is to improve the resilience and the protection capabilities of interconnected ECI exposed to evolving systemic risks due to existing and emerging large-scale, combined, cyber-physical threats and hazards, guarantee the continuity of operations, while minimizing cascading effects in the infrastructure itself, the environment, other CIs, and the involved population, enabling public and private actors to meet current and emerging challenges by adopting sustainable security solutions. This project has received funding from the European Union’s Horizon Europe framework programme under grant agreement No.101073909 The contents of this account represent the views of the authors only and remain their sole responsibility. ATLANTIS - Horizon Europe Project is a 3-year EU🇪🇺-funded project that aims at improving #resilience of European critical infrastructure against large-scale transnational and systemic risks. RESALLIENCE has been actively involved in the implementation of all the ATLANTIS - Horizon Europe Project activities, together with many other public and private institutions. Over the past 3 days, the ATLANTIS - Horizon Europe Project General Assembly was held in Ljubljana, Slovenia 🇸🇮. #Policy making and #standardization activities are key components of the ATLANTIS - Horizon Europe Project. The goal is to identify specific policy-related issues with regard to the protection and security of #EU critical infrastructure (legal framework, regulations, legislations) and pave the way for decision making. With a focus on cross-border and cross-sector critical infrastructure. Over the past 6 months, RESALLIENCE, as a lead of standardization and policy making activities, coordinated the relevant activities in close cooperation with all the ATLANTIS - Horizon Europe Project partners and advisory board members. As ATLANTIS - Horizon Europe Project policy manager, I designed the policy making session of the ATLANTIS - Horizon Europe Project General Assembly and presented all the policy and standardization activities that I coordinated over the past few months. The overall appreciation is that we achieved significant results in a short period of time and the suggested roadmap for the next few months makes perfect sense. It may be summarized by: ✅Standardization and policy making events, ✅Policy recommendations, ✅Policy briefs and ✅European synergies. It was a great pleasure to discuss complex but interesting matters related to the current legal framework of EU critical infrastructure with all the ATLANTIS - Horizon Europe Project consortium members.
