We are thrilled to announce the successful sale of two commercial properties in Norway, ME and Rumford, ME, marking another significant milestone for ARC. These properties, collectively known as the Aubuchon Portfolio, include: 138 Main Street, Norway, ME: Acquired in 2004, is a 16,363 sq. ft. retail property anchored by a long-term lease with Aubuchon Hardware, situated in a bustling retail hub. 65 Falmouth Street, Rumford, ME: Acquired in 1987, is a 13,243 sq. ft. multi-tenant property featuring Aubuchon Hardware and Rent-A-Center, both committed to the site through long term leases. A special acknowledgement goes to Sean Clarke and Jessica Krauss for their exceptional efforts in managing this transaction. Their dedication and expertise were pivotal in securing a seamless closing and delivering outstanding results for ARC and our shareholders. ARC acquired Aubuchon Acres in South Sandwich, MA in 2008, initially consisting of several acres of land, a 5,000 SF retail building, and a 9,000 SF functioning lumber yard. In 2012, we remodeled the former lumber yard to meet the growing needs of Aubuchon Hardware, and by 2017, we constructed a new roadway and infrastructure, enabling the formation of three by-right lots. One of these lots was sold to Canterbury Market, while another was developed into a built-to-suit property for Dollar Tree Stores, which opened its doors in 2020. The third lot continues to operate as a high-volume Aubuchon Hardware. This project was not without its challenges: avoiding CCC purview of >10,000 SF buildings, complex easements amongst tenants/utility providers, and construction in mid-2020 in the throws of the pandemic. No project is without its speedbumps, but we certainly learned a lot from developing in a high barrier to entry market like Cape Cod. #ARC #AubuchonRealtyCompany #CommercialRealEstateDevelopment #CRE

Among the first was a landmark property called 'Warehouse B' in Fitchburg, MA—a building that laid the foundation for both the W.E. Aubuchon Co., Inc. and Aubuchon Realty Company's thriving legacies. As we reflect on nearly a century of innovation, resilience, and relationships, we’re reminded that our success has always been built on the trust of our shareholders, partners, and communities.
