#YVL_newsroom 📰 Uganda's Government and CSOs embrace the AU-EU Youth Lab programme! 💼 The AU-EU Youth Action Lab Stakeholders’ Inception Meeting was organized last week by Restless Development in Kampala, Uganda. Within its framework, both actions of the AUEU Youth Lab have been presented: the AU-EU Youth Voices Lab and the AU-EU Youth Action Lab. 👉 20 key stakeholders participated in the inception meeting, among which Elizabeth Ongom, the European delegate in charge of youth programming in Uganda, youth-led CSOs, and the Uganda National Planning Authority. 💭 "As a government, we believe in an asset-based approach to youth programming – which looks at youth not as targets to be met but as players and drivers in their own game." kyateka mondo, Assistant Commissioner in charge of Youth Affairs in Uganda, during the event. 🧩 Like-minded CSOs such as Life for the World also pledged to support the dissemination of calls for proposals by the two programmes and identify areas of synergies and integration. #EngageEmpowerConnect #AUEUYouthVoicesLab #AUEUYouthLab #AUEU #EuropeAid
