Aurubis Richmond in partnership with Augusta Technical College hosted visitors from the GACC South - German American Chamber of Commerce of the Southern U.S., Inc. Participants recently had the opportunity to tour both the Aurubis Richmond site and the Augusta Tech Campus. The purpose of these visits was to evaluate and discuss the applicability of skills for the Mechatronics Technician (MT) Apprenticeship training program. These tours provided valuable insights into the practical applications of mechatronics in a real-world setting, fostering discussions on how to best prepare apprentices for success in this dynamic field. We are excited to share more updates on this partnership in the coming months, as we work together to enhance training opportunities and support the development of skilled technicians in our community.
