AutoMat supports the EU's green&digital transition by enhancing material reuse&recycling through innovative technologies
About us
The urgent need for alternative energy sources and decarbonization to meet the EU's climate targets is driving extensive use of critical raw materials essential for electrical and electronic equipment and batteries. This need is heightened by the rapidly changing geopolitical landscape. AutoMat addresses these challenges by introducing sustainable, circular solutions with key focuses: 1. Advanced recycling technologies: These prepare batteries and electronic components for reuse through disassembly, sorting, and material recovery, reducing non-reusable parts and materials and reintroducing new products, including chemicals, into the market. 2. Digitalisation: Multi-level digital data exchange supports advanced collection strategies, improves recycling-reuse process efficiency, and provides real-time, predictive information to reduce risks and waste. Digital passports for second-life applications enhance output efficiency. AutoMat's approach supports the EU's green and digital transition by enhancing material reuse and recycling through innovative technologies and comprehensive digital solutions.
