We’re kicking off 2025 with an inspiring update from Arizona! At Perryville Women’s Prison, a Shark Tank-style competition empowers incarcerated women to pitch their innovative business ideas to a panel of professional judges, giving them a unique opportunity to foster their creativity and entrepreneurial skills. Our very own Gretchen Meyer, CHRO, and Shamia Lodge, Director of Community Engagement, had the privilege of attending this capstone event— witnessing first-hand each participant’s great work. Aventiv Technologies is proud to partner with the Televerde Foundation, sponsor of the event, to create real second chances for justice-impacted individuals. In 2024, we placed 14 participants from their program into eligible roles at #TeamAventiv, further contributing to our year-over-year 32% increase in fair chance hires.
