Was ist eigentlich mit #Glasfaser? Wenn man diversen Branchenvertretern zuhört, könnte man durchaus den Eindruck gewinnen, das #Glasfaser in Kürze überall und flächendeckend verfügbar und #Richtfunk eine absolute #Randerscheinung ist. Letzte Woche hat unser Team von TWS technologies GmbH in Sachsen bei einem Bestandskunden ein Upgrade durchgeführt, und altgediente Hardware nach über 10 Betriebsjahren in den verdienten Ruhestand geschickt. Die alte Splitmount Technik lief seit 2013 verlässlich mit knapp 800 Mbit/s. Mit dem Einsatz von modernen Multiband- Systemen von Aviat Networks haben wir die Bandbreite mehr als verzehnfacht. Zwischen beiden Standorten besteht keine direkte Sichtverbindung, daher werden die 10 GBit/s weiterhin über einen Funkmast der DFMG Deutsche Funkturm GmbH geführt. Wo genau ist jetzt eigentlich diese Glasfaser?
