Founded in 1972 by aviation editor James Holahan and publisher Wilson S. The company also publishes Aviation International News, a monthly trade publication widely called "AIN," which covers news, features, special reports, aircraft evaluations and surveys on business, commercial and regional aviation worldwide, and a four-times-weekly electronic newsletter, available by e-mail, AINalerts (www.ainalerts.com), which focuses on the same subjects as Aviation International News. Other digital publications produced by the AIN Publications editorial staff are AIN Air Transport Perspective and AIN Defense Perspective.
