General Motors Cadillac announced it has partnered with Ferrari as an engine supplier for the 2026 Formula 1 season. While this might sound random, Ferrari is very familiar with American motorsports, dating back to the 1940s and 50s. Through N.A.R.T. and Luigi Chinetti, the Ferrari connection to the USA has been a longstanding and successful relationship. Enzo Ferrari recognized the potential of the US market for his sports cars and strategically recruited top American drivers like Phil Hill, who won the F1 championship with Ferrari in 1961. Hopefully, this will be a successful partnership, and Cadillac will find success early in its Formula 1 efforts. Imagine coming out of the gate competitively; what a story that would be. https://lnkd.in/ghs6-5bB

🏁 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix: The Season Finale The 2024 Formula 1 season concludes under the lights of the Yas Marina Circuit, an exciting venue that has been part of the championship since 2009. Mercedes has the most wins at this circuit; however, Red Bull and Max Verstappen have shown recent dominance, winning the last four races. With the Drivers' Title sealed by Verstappen, all eyes are on the Constructors' battle. McLaren leads Ferrari by 21 points, but a Ferrari win is crucial to keep their hopes alive. Meanwhile, McLaren is poised to end a 25-year drought for their first Constructors' Title since 1998, needing a solid race to seal the deal. Mercedes closes a legendary chapter with Lewis Hamilton. Haas, Ferrari, and Stake-Sauber have send-off weekends for their drivers. The stage is set for drama as the 2024 F1 season concludes. Who will leave Abu Dhabi Constructor's Champs? #F1 #AbuDhabiGP #SeasonFinale #F1 #Formula1 #Mclaren #Ferrari #LewisHamilton #Haas https://lnkd.in/gbH-pu67

Arthur and Charles LeClerc will make history at the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix this weekend. This will be the first time a brother driver pairing will compete for the same team during the same F1 race weekend. Arthur will replace Carlos Sainz for the FP1 session on Friday as part of the driver development program. Even though this is the first time for F1, siblings in F1 are not new, dating back to the 1960s with the Rodríguez Brothers. #AbudhabiGP #ArthurLeClerc #CharlesLeClerc #ScuderiaFerrari #YasMarinaCircuit https://lnkd.in/gzkxyYVx

When I consider all the drivers who come and go through Formula 1, it seems like such a waste. These drivers reach the pinnacle of motorsport or come close to it, and then there's little for them to do. They almost disappear from the scene, moving on to other series like WEC or Indycar. What if there was a better way for these top drivers to continue competing under the F1 banner? What if there was a secondary series for contenders? #F1 #F2 #Formula1 https://lnkd.in/gHm_nqzx
