#AWSCommunityDay #CentralAsia 2024 is over.
And I'd like to follow up with some statistics. We had:
* 18 speakers from 6 countries
* 20+ various sessions
* 300+ offline attendees from more than 10 countries
* 4.73 / 5 preliminary NPS
* AWS GameDay gathered 60+ attendees
And all this couldn't be done without our organization team - huge kudos to Said Akhmed Agitaev, Sergey Kirgizov, Nurbek Sadykov, Rustam Satlykov, Zafar Khodjaev, Rukhsora Nazarova, Anna Bayedilova, Malika Mukhamedova! We've been working so hard for the last couple of months and I am really proud that we made it all together.
My heartfelt thanks to María Encinar and Thembile Ndlovu who are supporting our communities from Amazon Web Services (AWS) side - we truly appreciate your work and your striving to build strong and connected communities.
Also I want to thank our brilliant speakers Anton Babenko ☁🇺🇦, Viktor Vedmich, Kostiantyn Severenchuk, Arman Nurgaliyev, Alex Kulagin, Irine Kokilashvili, Alexey Eremin, Dilshod Ibragimov, Alua Musralina and many others who I couldn't mention by some reasons (uhm, LinkedIn, what-the-heck?).
For sure, such a huge events are totally impossible without significant support of sponsors and partners. And finding sponsorship is also another challenge in such immature markets as in Uzbekistan. But we have companies that are committed to growth of the local and regional tech communities and they helped us a lot. Big thanks to EPAM Systems, IT PARK Uzbekistan, qCloudy for invaluable support!
Summarizing - I believe that this type of events which are gathering people from the neighbor countries at one place are very important, especially in a such isolated and special region as Central Asia. We have so much commons things in our countries and we definitely have to work on development of common platforms where people could share their experience and knowledge. And I believe that #AWSCommunityDay #CentralAsia is already one of these platforms.
We've organized two conferences in one year and made so much work guys, but we have to do even more - provide more educational content, grow local communities, establish cross-border networking - and we will do it with AWS User Group Tashkent, AWS User Group Kazakhstan, AWS User Group Kyrgyzstan!
So, stay tuned, folks - we're just getting started!
