Last week in Hanoi, Baker Hughes hosted our first Carbon Capture and Storage (CCS) technical workshop in #Vietnam, welcoming leadership from PETROVIETNAM and representatives from various ministries. SVP Tayo Akinokun opened the session by highlighting our nearly three decades of presence in Vietnam and reaffirming our commitment to supporting the country's ongoing sustainable energy transformation. The workshop marked a significant milestone in the continued collaboration between our CEO Lorenzo Simonelli and PetroVietnam’s CEO Mr. Le Ngoc Son, following their discussions last October. We were also honored to meet with Mr. Dang Hai Anh, Deputy General Director of the Oil, Gas, and Coal Department at Ministry of Industry and Trade Vietnam. His invaluable insights into Vietnam’s green energy transition were deeply appreciated, particularly given his pivotal role in driving this critical initiative. A sincere thank you to our partners and colleagues for their unwavering support in making last week’s engagements so impactful.
