Over the past five decades, we have remained steadfast in our mission to build community-centric facilities that make a lasting impact. Our journey in Northwest Arkansas began in 1975 with the Gravette Community Hospital, a project that set the tone for what was to come over the next 50 years. At the time, this hospital was part of the lowest-cost healthcare system in the nation, reflecting a shared dedication to making healthcare accessible and affordable for all. Now, 50 years later, we are honored to be constructing the Heartland Whole Health Institute. This transformative project embodies innovation and progress, striving to address the national health crisis by "lowering costs, improving quality, and broadening access to healthcare." Heartland Whole Health Institute’s whole health principles and new delivery models are designed to catalyze change in the Heartland and beyond, creating a blueprint for a healthier, more equitable future. From our first project to our current endeavors, Baldwin & Shell remains intentional about seeking after projects that we believe improve the quality of life for NWA residents. It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden passing of our dear colleague and friend, Mike Moore, Preconstruction Manager for our Memphis team. Mike was a dedicated and valued member of the Baldwin & Shell family, known for his hard work, kindness, and the positive impact he had on everyone around him. Mike’s presence will be profoundly missed, and his memory will always be a treasured and irreplaceable part of our company’s story. Our hearts and prayers are with his devoted wife, Jan, of 49 years, along with his family, friends, and work family as we navigate this incredibly difficult time together.
