We’ve taken our beloved Saison ale and pushed it into new territory by adding hand-harvested Petite Verdot grapes straight from Barrel Oak’s own vineyard during fermentation. But we didn’t stop there. This one-of-a-kind brew was carefully aged for a full year in a French Burgundy barrel, soaking up all the character that wine lovers crave. To heighten the experience, we blended in a luscious Strawberry Rhubarb purée, creating an ale that’s nothing short of extraordinary. The vibrant, jammy essence of the grapes melds seamlessly with the fresh burst of wild strawberry and tart rhubarb. Meanwhile, the barrel aging imparts silky layers of vanilla, toasted almonds, and just a hint of spice, weaving complexity into every sip. The result? A velvety smooth, fruit-forward beer that boasts a rich depth reminiscent of fine wine. Tannins provide structure, while notes of leather and a wine-like finish give this hybrid brew an elegant edge. 🏅🍇 Award-Winning Wine Announcement! 🍷✨ We are thrilled to announce that our 2022 Petit Manseng, harvested last September, has won the 2024 ASWA BEST OF CATEGORY/Gold Medal! With 8.80 tons of grapes, this wine was carefully fermented and aged 100% in stainless steel, keeping it fresh and vibrant. 🍑🍏 Expect delicious aromas of ripe red apple, peach, and honey, with a dry, medium body and a crisp, clean finish. 🍯 A touch of malolactic fermentation brings smoothness while preserving that bright acidity we all love.
