Last week, we were honored to attend the Delaware County Veterans Memorial Newtown Square Freedom Medal Dinner at Springfield Country Club. This inspiring event recognizes the extraordinary service and sacrifice of our military veterans. The memorial in Newtown Square, funded by the incredible generosity of the de Botton family (Nicole de Botton Robinson), is a lasting tribute to Delaware County's fallen service members. Beyond its powerful presence, the memorial offers flag-raising tributes, educational programs for K-12 students, and events celebrating our local veterans. Last week, we attended the Home of the Sparrow - Pennsylvania Fashion Show at The Desmond Hotel Malvern, A DoubleTree by Hilton. It was an inspiring event supporting women facing homelessness. Home of the Sparrow helps women secure housing and achieve long-term stability for themselves and their children. The fashion show brought the community together to support local businesses, with models showcasing clothing and accessories from local stores and vendors offering unique holiday gifts. With another deadline behind us, we celebrated with a fun and creative cocktail-making demonstration by Allison from Sauté and Soiree! We indulged in a delicious spread of homemade dips and appetizers while joining Allison in crafting four unique cocktails/mocktails: a cantaloupe rosé wine slushie paired with a crispy prosciutto chip, an aper-fall spritz, a charcuterie margarita, and a refreshing mojito twist! It was the perfect way to unwind with coworkers, share some laughs, and even discover who has the best bartending skills! Cheers to a well-deserved celebration!

We're rallying around one of our beloved team members, Megan Yates, who has recently been diagnosed with two brain tumors and will undergo surgery next month. At just 28 years old, Megan has been courageously battling brain tumors since childhood, with her first surgery being at just 8 years old. Last week, the BGA&F team came together to support Megan at the National Brain Tumor Society Greater Philadelphia Walk. We proudly sponsored her team, affectionately named "Meg's Brainy Bunch." It was inspiring to witness the resilience of so many survivors. Their strength gives us all hope for a brighter future for those affected by brain tumors. Let’s keep Megan in our thoughts and prayers this fall for a successful surgery.
