Three of our signature partners provided essential relief to people across the Southeast following Hurricane Helene's devastation. Through grants from the Foundation, American Red Cross, Americares and International Medical Corps were able to provide financial assistance, meals, housing, medical and mental health resources to those in need. #BaxteThankful #CorporateResponsibility

    North Cove Update: We recently restarted our second IV solutions manufacturing line, which means that approximately 50% of the site’s total pre-hurricane production is now online. Our teams continue to make progress on the phased restart of operations and expect that the first irrigation and first peritoneal dialysis (PD) lines will restart in early December.     For a few days, Istanbul was a hub of connecting, learning and engaging for Baxter's Global and EMEA Advanced Surgery leadership. President Steve Wallace and Vice President Stefan Kuntze connected with the local team and new hires, learned more about the facilities of the training center and engaged with customers during product demonstrations.     Today, the first truckloads of IV fluid products made following Hurricane Helene left our North Cove facility, while HHS Secretary Becerra and his team were onsite to survey the progress we’ve made to initiate production in phases. Our trucks are now heading to distribution points across the country to support hospitals and their patients. We're grateful for the Secretary's leadership, along with the support of teams at HHS, FDA, ASPR and the state of North Carolina. We also thank our customers, care teams and patients for their understanding and patience as we've advanced our recovery. #NorthCoveStrong

    Organized by Baxter's enABLES Business Resource Group, several Baxter employees participated in the 16th Annual SkyRise Chicago event.     Our Advanced Surgery team hosted surgeons from Canada and Latin America at our headquarters for a surgical workshop. Keynote speaker Dr. Ryan Matthews from the UK offered invaluable insights into clinical cases and the latest techniques. Immediate action is necessary for life-threatening intraoperative bleeding. Choosing and using the right hemostatic agent correctly is vital. These collaborative and interactive sessions are where we make meaningful connections with healthcare professionals. As one participant said: "This demonstration surpassed all our expectations, filling us with a sense of pride and accomplishment."

    A group of team members who work on Baxter's connected care solutions gathered for a few days of learning, collaboration and team bonding! The meeting kicked off with a visit to Baxter’s Customer Experience Center in Batesville, Indiana to see our connected care solutions in action, followed by skill-building sessions and team brainstorms at our headquarters in Deerfield, Illinois.
