I am excited to Join Agmatix’s Breakout Session at World Agri-Tech! 🌱🐝 A few years ago, BeeHero embarked on its journey in the US, stepping onto the World Agri-Tech stage as part of the Radicle Growth Challenge led by Kirk Haney. Fast forward to today, and thanks to an incredible team I’m privileged to work with, we’ve grown into the global leader in precision pollination—driving adoption and commercial success at a scale rarely seen in our space. At this year’s Agmatix breakout session, I’m looking forward to a fruitful discussion about the future of agriculture—a future that isn’t built on ideas alone but on the ground, alongside farmers. Innovation in agriculture doesn’t happen in a clean office with grand visions—it happens in the field, in harmony with growers, through real-world execution. Let’s roll up our sleeves and get to work! Looking forward to connecting with those who are shaping the future of agtech. Who else will be at World Agri-Tech? Drop a comment or DM me! 👇 Sarah Myers | Jonathan Sullivan | Mika Eberl | Ron Baruchi | Max Krasilovsky | Craig McMurray | Ze'ev Barylka | Itai Kanot | BASF | Deloitte #WorldAgriTech #AgTech #PrecisionPollination #FutureOfFarming #BeeHero #AgricultureInnovation

Brisbane, Australia. A room full of innovators, investors, growers, and decision-makers. A stage set for the future of agriculture. But what really happens at a conference like #EvokeAG? Over the past few days, I had the opportunity to dive deep into conversations with potential clients, partners, and industry leaders alongside Clayton Hiskins and our Australian team. Beyond the panels and keynotes, what stood out to me was a recurring theme in my discussions: Innovation in agtech isn’t just about what’s possible—it’s about what’s practical. 🚜 The most promising solutions aren’t always the flashiest. They are the ones that solve real problems, fit into existing workflows, and create measurable value for growers. 💡 Technology alone doesn’t drive change—trust does. Farmers, investors, and policymakers need more than a great pitch; they need to see real-world proof, long-term commitment, and a deep understanding of their challenges. These themes are core to BeeHero. We’re not just introducing new technology—we’re working alongside growers to increase pollination efficiency, boost yields, and open new possibilities for the future of agriculture. And the trip isn’t over yet. Clayton and I are now heading to Bundaberg to meet with potential clients, opening doors for BeeHero to enter a new market—macadamia. Expanding our impact into new crop segments is an exciting step forward, and I’m eager to see how we can bring real value to growers in this space. The conversations at #EvokeAG reinforced something I strongly believe in: It’s not enough for agtech to be “cool” or “cutting-edge.” It has to work, scale, and integrate seamlessly into the industry it serves. I’d love to hear from others who were there—or from those shaping the future of agtech from different perspectives. What’s the biggest gap you see between innovation and adoption in agriculture? #agtech #innovation #agriculture #bees #pollination #macadamia #food_security

When Itai Kanot was a kid growing up on a bee farm in Israel, he experienced CCD - Colony Collapse Disorder - first hand. His father's apiary grew harder and harder to maintain, and while the rest of the farms in his small village upgraded their operations with new technologies, his beekeeping father belonged to the only agricultural sector that saw absolutely no innovation for centuries. Several years later Itai met Omer Davidi and Yuval Regev, and the three friends co-founded BeeHero - the first company to introduce data driven practices into the legacy industry of beekeeping, by developing small sensors that monitor bee activity in hives and fields. The unprecedented scope of real-time data allows commercial beekeepers to maintain stronger hives, and as result - allows farmers, who rent these hives for pollination, to maximize their pollination efforts. And with 75% of all crops dependent on bee pollination, maximizing pollination means more food to feed humanity using the same resources. BeeHero today is the leading provider of pollination services in the world, and a key player in almond pollination, where yield is dependent completely on bee pollination. This year, as bee loss rates reach unprecedented hights (with some beekeepers reporting a 100% loss of their colonies) - BeeHero's approach is crucial to continue future proofing global supply of pollinator-dependent crops. I had the pleasure of visiting my teammates in the BeeHero operation in California, and the unique treat of opening hives with Itai. There's nothing quite as exciting and inspiring as seeing these amazing insects at work.

It’s one of the most beautiful times of the year in California, with almond orchards across the state bursting into bloom. Billions of blossoms offer a bounty for hungry bees, eager to begin their foraging after the cold winter months. Each bee visits thousands of flowers daily, collecting nectar and pollen to fuel the growing hive. In the process, they transfer life-giving pollen from blossom to blossom, inadvertently doing our bidding and transforming flowers into almonds. 🐝𝗦𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗲𝗸𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗣𝗶𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲🐝 The devastating bee losses we’re seeing right now are a harsh reminder—sustainability in beekeeping isn’t just a buzzword. It’s a necessity. I don't have all the answers, but we all hold some pieces of the puzzle. Before I started BeeHero, I was a commercial beekeeper. I was born into this life and loved it. One of the biggest lessons I learned early on was the importance of seeing the full cycle. In many commercial operations, beekeepers treat a yard and move on, never returning to see the long-term results. My dad and I realized this gap, so he assigned me yards to manage from start to finish. That experience changed everything—it made me a better beekeeper, a better operator, and more accountable for the impact of my decisions. If we want to build a more resilient future for bees, we need to rethink how we train and operate. Small changes in approach can make a huge difference. What’s a lesson that shaped the way you work? Drop it in the comments—I’d love to hear it. #Beekeeping #Sustainability #Agtech #Agriculture #LessonsLearned

U.S. beekeepers are facing devastating colony losses of 50-100%, some of the worst in history. With pollination for key crops happening in the coming weeks, this hive shortage could have lasting consequences for growers’ yields. While our beekeeping partners weren't immune to these challenges, BeeHero will be able to fulfill 100% of our grower contracts. How so? By combining technology with strong, long-term relationships with some of the nation’s top beekeepers, we’ve built a resilient network that helps mitigate risk, even in difficult seasons. Our proactive approach allows us to support beekeepers while ensuring none of our growers are left without the pollination their crops depend on. In times like these, collaboration and innovation are more critical than ever. We stand with the beekeeping community and remain dedicated to a more sustainable future for pollination.
