She has organized over 100 Belgian Mondays allowing our community to connect in both a personal and professional level. She has become the person many Belgians go to for advice. Cynthia is also a small business owner and entrepreneur having started Titia's Tea Party, where she merges her Belgian and British background with her professional background of hospitality and event planning to create memorable events to her guests. After 25 years, this marquee event, beloved by the Belgian community and friends in the Southeast, is making its grand comeback! 🗓️ Mark your calendars for an unforgettable evening of Belgian fine dining, celebration, and great connections on May 2, 2025! The Taste of Belgium Gala has a rich legacy of bringing together members of our community for an exquisite culinary journey showcasing authentic Belgian cuisine and culture. The 1996 edition even welcomed cycling legend Eddy Merckx! Needless to say we are excited to revive the spirit of this iconic gathering. This year's gala will serve as a fundraising event to support the continued growth of BACoS. Together, we can advance our mission of fostering Belgian-American business and cultural ties in the Southeast. Last week, our Chairwoman Brigitte Vantieghem LL.M. was invited to participate in a debate organized by Ekonomika vzw at #KULeuven and bringing together experts to discuss the 2024 U.S. presidential election.
