🎙️ 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿—W𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗕𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝗺𝗯𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀. In the latest episode of Get Unstuck & On Target, I had the privilege of speaking with John Ghiorso, founder of Orca Pacific, one of the world’s leading Amazon agencies. After successfully selling his company, John is now on a bold journey to launch five new marketing agencies in rapid succession. This conversation isn’t just about business growth—it’s about vision, resilience, and the invaluable lessons learned along the way. John revealed how he’s leveraging operational frameworks to scale faster than ever and why he’s transparently building this next chapter. One standout insight? The importance of consuming high-quality information to make better decisions. As John puts it, “Most of success is dependent on decision-making.” As an executive coach, I’ve seen how even the most accomplished leaders can feel stuck—not from lack of success but from searching for deeper purpose and fulfillment. John’s story is a powerful example of what’s possible when you embrace starting fresh and reimagining success. 🤝 Ready to rethink your approach to growth and leadership? Tune into this inspiring episode, and let me know your thoughts in the comments—or tag someone who could benefit from John’s insights. 🎧 Listen to the full episode via the link in the comments. 🌟 𝗙𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗕𝗲𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 🌟 💡 What if the success you’ve worked so hard to achieve is actually holding you back from true fulfillment? In the latest episode of Get Unstuck & On Target, I had a great discussion with Andrew L. Anderson, a coach dedicated to helping elite business owners achieve breakthroughs—not just in their businesses but their lives. Andrew shared a thought-provoking insight that really made me stop and think: 👉 "Most successful people are unconsciously incompetent—they don’t even realize what’s holding them back from true fulfillment." During our conversation, Andrew reflected on his own transformation, from a teenager hiding in bathroom stalls to becoming a trusted guide for high-performing leaders. His journey is inspiring, but it was his observations about the unseen struggles of successful people that hit home: 💬 Even success has limits. As Andrew shared, there are challenges money simply can’t solve: - Rebuilding a strained relationship with a teenager - Rekindling connection with a spouse - Restoring a sense of faith - Breaking free from the need for parental approval 🧳 The real breakthrough? Letting go of emotional baggage. What stood out most to me was Andrew’s insight: Many high achievers focus on running away from what they don’t want, rather than moving toward what they truly desire. Often, they’re unknowingly held back by unresolved wounds from their past. 🎙️ This episode is a must-listen if you’ve ever felt like something’s missing, despite your accomplishments. Andrew’s honesty and wisdom offer a powerful reminder that true fulfillment is within reach—but only if we’re willing to confront what’s holding us back. Andrew, thank you for your vulnerability and the meaningful lessons you shared. Your message is a gift to all of us striving to grow not just as leaders, but as people. 🎧 Catch the full episode via the link in the comments! 🎧 #ExecutiveCoaching #LeadershipDevelopment #Fulfillment #EmotionalIntelligence #LeadershipGrowth

🎙️ 𝗨𝗻𝗰𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝗲 𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗳𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: 𝗔 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗲𝘄 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 In my latest episode of Get Unstuck & On Target, I had the privilege of speaking with Andrew L. Anderson, a coach who helps elite business owners achieve breakthroughs in both their professional and personal lives. Andrew shared a perspective that made me pause and reflect: "Most successful people are unconsciously incompetent—they don’t even realize what’s holding them back from true fulfillment." During our conversation, Andrew opened up about his own journey, from being a 14-year-old hiding in bathroom stalls to becoming a trusted advisor for high-performing leaders. His story is deeply inspiring, but it was his insights into the personal struggles of successful people that struck a chord with me: 🛑 Money can’t solve everything. Andrew explained how even the most accomplished leaders can’t buy their way out of: - A strained relationship with their teenager - Disconnection from their spouse - A crisis of faith - The lingering need for parental approval 🔑 The key to fulfillment lies in releasing emotional baggage. What resonated most with me was Andrew’s observation that many successful people spend their lives moving away from what they don’t want, rather than toward what they truly desire. Often, this is because they’re unknowingly carrying unresolved baggage from their past. Why Listen? If you’ve ever felt that, despite achieving so much, something is still missing, this episode offers valuable insights into identifying and addressing what might be holding you back. Andrew, thank you for your honesty and vulnerability. Your willingness to share your story and wisdom will inspire many to take steps toward genuine fulfillment. 🎧 Listen to the full episode by clicking the link in the comments. 🎧 #ExecutiveCoaching #LeadershipDevelopment #Fulfillment #EmotionalIntelligence #LeadershipGrowth

🎙️ 𝗜𝗻𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗱𝗲 𝗦𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲: 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗚𝗹𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗿𝗿 Financial advice doesn’t need to be complex—especially when it’s coming from Glen Starr, CFP®. I recently had a fascinating conversation with Glen, a former chemical engineer who transformed his analytical skills into a 32-year career in financial advising. What surprised me most was Glen’s refreshingly simple take on stock prices: they only matter when you buy and when you sell. Everything else? It’s just noise. Glen gave an analogy that changed my perspective on investing: Think about your groceries. If the store puts them on sale right after you buy them, did you lose money on the food in your pantry? Of course not. The same logic, he says, applies to stocks. Key Insights from Glen: 🔹 Keep it Simple – Most financial advice is overly complicated. 🔹 Stay Focused on Quality – Good businesses remain valuable, regardless of daily price swings. 🔹 Ignore the Noise – The media’s short-term focus on market data often distracts from what truly matters. 🔹 Trust Comes from Simplicity – Straight talk builds trust, not fancy jargon. The best part? Glen breaks down investment options into just four categories, making it clear and straightforward for anyone looking to understand their choices. 📢 Why Listen? Glen shares his practical wisdom while wearing his signature cowboy hat - proving good financial advice doesn't need to come in a suit and tie. 🎧 Check out the latest episode by clicking the link in the comments 🎧 🤝 Ready to Simplify Your Leadership Journey? 🎉 𝗖𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀: 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝗦𝘂𝗰𝗰𝗲𝘀𝘀 🎉 As an executive coach, I often remind leaders that taking the time to celebrate achievements isn’t just a feel-good activity—it’s a vital component of sustainable success. This week, let’s focus on recognizing our wins, big or small, and how they shape our leadership journeys. 🌟 Why Celebrate Success? Too often, leaders rush from one goal to the next without pausing to acknowledge their progress. Celebrating achievements reinforces a culture of recognition, boosts morale, and fuels motivation for future challenges. Whether hitting a revenue milestone or building a stronger team dynamic, each success deserves its moment. 📋 How to Celebrate Achievements Effectively Reflect on the Journey: Take time to revisit the challenges you overcame and the lessons you learned along the way. Recognize Your Team: Success is rarely a solo effort. Acknowledge the contributions of those who supported the journey. Create a Ritual: Whether it’s a handwritten thank-you note, a team shoutout, or a personal reflection, develop a practice to celebrate wins consistently. 💡 A Coaching Insight: One of my clients, a high-performing CEO, once shared how celebrating achievements transformed his team. By openly recognizing wins, he not only improved team cohesion but also unlocked greater creativity and trust across the organization. 🔑 Your Turn: Reflect and Share Success looks different for everyone. As you reflect on the past year, what’s one accomplishment you’re proud of—personally or professionally? If you’d like to share, drop it in the comments—I’d love to celebrate with you! Or, take a quiet moment to acknowledge it for yourself. Every win matters. #LeadershipDevelopment #Gratitude #TeamSuccess #GrowthMindset #ExecutiveCoaching #YearEndReflection

🎙️ 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝗼𝗽 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸𝘀 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝘆: 𝗔 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗥𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 Think your best employees leave for a bigger paycheck? Think again. More often, they leave due to leaders who only appear to uphold company values. In my recent conversation, HR expert Maggie Carrington —a pro with 35+ years in the field—reveals how surface-level culture alignment is driving great people out the door. She shared a story of a manager who was a master of “managing up,” creating a facade of unity and teamwork that leadership bought into fully. But underneath, their team was crumbling, frustrated by unmet promises and unaligned actions. This resonated deeply with me because I’ve seen it myself: culture is built in everyday actions, not in big mission statements or leadership meetings. It’s in the consistent, authentic behavior of leaders when nobody’s watching. Maggie’s insights bring it home: 🔍 Get to the “Why” – Leaders must dig into the real reasons behind disengagement, not just the visible symptoms. 📏 Measure What Matters – Focusing on numbers is one thing, but are we measuring how our values are truly lived out? 🕰️ Play the Long Game – Culture doesn’t shift overnight. It evolves through steady actions and authentic commitment. As an executive coach, I find Maggie’s approach both practical and powerful. Leadership isn’t about maintaining a polished image—it’s about fostering genuine alignment, especially when it’s difficult. 🎧 Curious about how to create real cultural impact? 𝗥𝗲𝗳𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿: 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿-𝗘𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗲𝘄 As we approach the end of the year, it’s a good time to pause, reflect, and take stock. A year-end review can offer valuable insights - helping us acknowledge growth, learn from challenges, and start next year with purpose. Why Take Time to Reflect? A year-end review isn’t just another task; it’s a chance to recognize the journey, refine your direction, and prepare for what’s next. It’s a simple but powerful way to appreciate progress and uncover new areas for growth. 🔍 Key Questions to Guide Your Reflection 🔍 Here are a few questions I’ve found helpful in my own end-of-year review. Feel free to use them or adapt them to what’s meaningful to you: Wins and Highlights – What achievements, big or small, stand out from the past year? Recognizing these moments reminds us of the progress we’ve made. Lessons from Challenges – What obstacles did you face, and what did you learn? Reflecting on challenges often reveals insights that fuel resilience and growth. Values in Action – How well did your actions align with what you truly value? Reflecting here can reveal if you invest time and energy in the things that matter most. Areas for Growth – What would you like to improve or focus on next year? This awareness can be the first step toward setting meaningful goals for the year ahead. 📝 Take Action: Capture Your Thoughts Consider jotting down your reflections or discussing them with a mentor or trusted colleague. Often, putting thoughts into words helps solidify your next steps. ❓ If you could give one piece of advice to your 'start-of-the-year self,' what would it be? We can all benefit from each other’s experiences and insights.

Executive Coach | Leadership Development Expert | Strategic HR Consultant | Helping Leaders to Align Teams & Deliver Game-Changing Results. 🎙️Get Unstuck & On Target Podcast Host
🎙️ The Real Reason Great Employees Quit Your best employees don't quit over pay - they quit over managers who fake culture alignment. In this candid conversation, HR veteran Maggie Carrington shares hard-earned insights from 35+ years of transforming workplace cultures, including a shocking story of a manager who fooled top leadership while quietly destroying team morale. She told me about a manager everyone in leadership loved. This person had mastered managing up - always saying the right things, presenting well, creating an image of perfect teamwork. But beneath the surface? Their team was suffering silently. As an executive coach, I've seen this pattern before. Values written on walls mean nothing if managers don't live them daily. The real test isn't what we say in meetings—it's what happens when no one's watching. Maggie shared how she handles these situations, drawing from her 35+ years in HR and her work with Dr. W. Edwards Deming himself. Her approach is refreshingly practical: Start with "why," measure what matters, and commit to the long game. The most valuable lesson? Culture isn't changed through grand announcements or fancy mission statements. It changes in small moments, through consistent actions, one conversation at a time. 🎧 Hear the full story on Get Unstuck & On Target (link in comments). 💡 Ready to transform your leadership journey?
