The mission of Be Pro Be Proud is to Build Tomorrow's Workforce by changing student, parent, and educator perceptions of high-demand, technical professions in targeted industry sectors across the United States. Today's students are seeking careers with purpose and wide-reaching, positive consequences. Be Pro Be Proud will show students that through a skilled profession, they can be part of tangible, meaningful change in their communities and beyond. For employers, Be Pro Be Proud helps elevate the value, importance, and relevance of technical professions for building and sustaining economic growth and increases awareness of technical professions as viable pathways to individual success.

Be Pro Be Proud TN is reaching new milestones across Tennessee! As of November 13th, we’ve impacted over 15,550 students in 60 cities with 105 tour stops. More than 1,550 students have joined the movement, excited about the possibilities in technical careers. After attending the workshop: 📈 76% understand the benefits of technical careers better 🎯 56% have a higher intention to pursue these careers 👍 80%+ hold more favorable views of CTE courses and technical education Together, we’re building a skilled workforce for Tennessee’s future!
