Construction disputes have soared in recent years, and labor shortages, rising material costs, supply chain issues, and potential regulatory shifts under a second Trump administration will exacerbate the issue in 2025. Thankfully, industry professionals are finding ways to save time—and money—by leaning into artificial intelligence developments like new large language model releases that expediate an otherwise laborious dispute process. To learn how generative AI is transforming the construction industry, read Ben Nolan and Travis Olson, PE, PSP, CCE’s article in our 2025 Outlook issue of ThinkSet magazine ➡️ https://lnkd.in/gyUXaxMs Mr. Wingo also will discuss the topic at the Construction Law Institute panel "From Weeks to Hours: AI-Powered Initial Discovery in Construction Law" this Friday: https://lnkd.in/gzpgttEH #2025outlook #construction #disputes #AI #LLM

Kai-Uwe Kühn and Adina Claici recently presented to an invited audience in Rome on developments in competition policy in Brussels. Professor Kühn discussed opportunities and pitfalls of the new state aid regime for the Clean New Deal and how tension can arise between state aid and industrial policy. Dr. Claici examined the Foreign Subsidies Regulation (FSR) one year after its implementation, including how the changing geopolitical context has impacted competition policy, increasing the prominence of state aid and FSR as tools to support the European Union’s goals, lessons learned during the first year and how economists can help firms navigate the regime. Francesco Lo Passo, head of BRG's offices in Rome and Milan, chaired the seminar. #stateaid #FSR #industrialpolicy
