🚀 Join us in our biggest push yet! 🚀 BetterEdu's Flyer-a-Thon is happening from October 7th to the 18th, and we’re on a mission to spread the word about our free mental health services for college students! This is our most significant effort to make sure every student knows they have access to support when they need it. How can you help? 📲 Download the BetterEdu app. 👥 Share our flyer with your network and encourage students to join one of our 20+ support groups! Mental health care should be accessible to everyone, and together, we can make it happen. Let’s reach as many students as possible and create a community where everyone feels supported. Learn more at www.BetterEdu.app or scan the QR code in the flyer. Let’s make a difference, one flyer at a time! 💙 #FlyerAThon #BetterEdu #MentalHealthMatters #SupportStudents #FreeMentalHealthServices

We are so excited to watch the peer mental health movement. Move forward! The first step to becoming an effective Peer Support or peer leader is to complete the training in your state. Every state has different protocol around the training typically it’s anywhere from 10 days to six weeks. I’m attaching the link here if you think that mental health or mental health tech might be in your future … https://lnkd.in/eCYH3Sde

Let’s get straight to the point – there’s a real and powerful case for not just incorporating, but prioritizing disability rights and empowerment into corporate DEI strategies. The Accenture report, “Getting to Equal: The Disability Inclusion Advantage,” found that companies that excel at disability employment and inclusion experience: 28% higher revenue 200% higher net income 30% higher economic profit margins 200% increased likelihood of outperforming their peers in total shareholder returns Moreover, “people with disabilities are the largest and fastest-growing minority group in the world. This untapped talent pool includes more than 750 million individuals,” writes Valentini Kalagyrou. Disability inclusion significantly widens the talent pool – a major benefit for today’s organizations given the recent talent shortages resulting from The Great Resignation.
